Retro games we've been playing - Week 3 Apr 2012

Each Sunday we like to give you a quick run down of what we've been playing that week.
In the third week of April 2012 we bring you some excellent games to have a look at, including 4 cheeky multi-player numbers.

The first game we take a look at is Impact Racing by JVC on the Sega Saturn - a battle racing game so bad you could probably take your eyes off the screen and still win a race.

Next up we have another battle racer, this time a few generations older than Impact Racing - It's Chase HQ on the Nintendo Gameboy with a wonderful review by Mark.

Stepping away from racing games now, we visit the first of three sports games we went toe to toe, Jamie Vs Mark on.

First up it's Sega Worldwide Soccer 2000 on the Sega Dreamcast. We played Arsenal Vs Tottenham Hotspurs, our two cherished teams, for 90 virtual minutes of cup final like tense action!

Secondly, sticking with football and the Dreamcast, we set up Virtua Striker 2 Version 2000.1 where we chose France Vs England - The first actual game for Euro 2012 for England.

The third of our sports games this week saw us take on another 2 player game - this time a slight bit older - NHL 98 for the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. Take a look at the first of many goals.. you probably won't see finer scored!

Finally, some utterly crazy Sega Mega Drive / Genesis classic retro gaming, courtesy of the legendary Mega Bomberman.

If you would like to see us take on a multi-player retro game to see who is eventually crowned king of retro gaming out of Mark & Jamie from TGS leave a comment below, drop us an e-mail to info@gamesshed.co.uk or send us a tweet @GamesShed
