The Games Shed - Our week in videos

Wow, what a week. It seems almost crazy posting this on a Tuesday evening, but being UK lads we've had a four day weekend, all thanks to our beloved Queen! (Happy Diamond Jubilee Ma'am).

So what have we been up to these last seven days?
Well aside from hearing 'God Save The Queen' on TV & Radio around one hundred times, we've actually fit in quite a lot of gaming!

We kicked things off last week with the Sega Saturn classic, Sega Rally.

Both Jamie & Mark took to this monster of a racer in a head to head with a difference. Mark chose the traditional joypad & auto gearing set-up, while Jamie, ever sure of his Sega Rally ability, chose the Sega Saturn Racing Wheel & manual gearing set-up. Who won? Have a look!

Next up, still in a two player racing sort of mood we chose the Nintendo GameCube great: F-Zero GX

To follow a theme we popped in another racer, this was Daytona USA, again for the Sega Saturn, however, this video didn't quite go according to plan and has ended up being TGS' first official outtake.

After the above shenanigans, we finally stopped laughing and slapped the correct version of Daytona in the Sega Saturn - Daytona USA Champion Circuit Edition

With the Saturn still plugged in and a CRT TV at the ready we tried our hand at the arcade classic 'House OF The Dead', however, this game proved a little too hard for the pair of us and we failed.. hard.

The last of our multi-player gaming this week took a more friendly, colourful and slightly delightful turn - we took on the 150cc GP challenge in the Nintendo GameCube's Mario Kart: Double Dash.

And that pretty much sums up our week in gaming.

There are plenty more videos to pick from the pair of us at our YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/thegamesshed
