Capcom announce Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set for $149.99 (Roughly £95) #fb

So Capcom have announced a limited edition Street Fighter collectors set which has an absolute hoard of items included.. As massive fans of street fighter we think this set will be a collectors item in years to come and is definitely worth snapping up if you got a spare $149.99 (Or £95 of your English pounds)

As you can see from the picture above there is loads of stuff in the box but to be fair they have probably made it look more impressive than it actually is by fanning 11 Audio CD's out at the bottom of the picture. Not sure who would really love sitting down listening to the tracks on the CD's but we are pretty sure most people would prefer them in MP3 format so they can listen to the soundtrack on the go?

Out of this lot the two items that really stand out for us are the "Light Up Ryu Statue" and the full size replica of Ryu's belt... Most Street Fighter fans would love to be able to don the Ryu outfit and look good in it, but to be fair this is highly unlikely. :) 

The only thing is, We prefer Ken.... :-0 

The set is more of a "Buy it and store it" set but at the same time includes 4 excellent versions of SF2 which are well worth a lot of game time!

-Street Fighter X Tekken (including all character and Swap Costume DLC)

-Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (with all costume DLC)

-Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix

-Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition

As you can see these are not your regular Street Fighter 2 Turbo or Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting, they are special edition versions of the game and make the set stand out and seem like a worthwhile purchase.

Loads of other stuff is in the box including a Hardcover Art book and a certificate of authenticity... As I said previously this will be a "Buy it and store it" item that needs to be sealed and never touched. Or if you are a normal person you will buy it, open it, put the belt on, put Ryu on your shelf as a night light, play all the games to death, read the book cover to cover and listen to all the cds until you are sick of them! 


25 years and what an amazing set of games to pour over for all of us fans!
