The Commodore Amiga CD32
Announced at London ’s Science Museum on 16 July 1993 (just a month after Jurassic Park is released)
Released in September of the same year, this home console could be upgraded to include a hard drive, floppy drive, keyboard & mouse, essentially enabling it to become a PC.
The console proved so unpopular that Commodore filed for bankruptcy some 7 months later in April 1994, thus having to discontinue the console.
The 32-Bit console market was made up of the Panasonic 3DO, Atari Jaguar & Sega 32X amongst the more notable of the fifth generation of home video games consoles.
